MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of experience as a software engineer, including two (2) years of experience with: Network, Switches, VPN, Load Balancers, Routing, Firewall, Virtualization on premise and Azure Cloud variants; Powershell; Azure Multistage pipelines; project migration for cloud-to-cloud and on-prem to cloud applications; building and monitoring Azure IAAS and PAAS Resources; Git, Docker and .NET Applications. Full-time telecommuting is permitted.
ALTERNATE REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and three (3) years of experience as a software engineer, including two (2) years of experience with: Network, Switches, VPN, Load Balancers, Routing, Firewall, Virtualization on premise and Azure Cloud variants; Powershell; Azure Multistage pipelines; project migration for cloud-to-cloud and on-prem to cloud applications; building and monitoring Azure IAAS and PAAS Resources; Git, Docker and .NET Applications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work as part of the agile team responsible for developing innovative, high-performance, scalable web and iOS applications using modern software technologies and techniques, in support of delivering market value.
- Facilitate the flow between Developers, QA, Product Owners, and Customer Support of software releases (new applications, features, bug fixes), internal documentation, user documentation, test results, issue status, release timelines, etc.
- Automate manual processes and workflows, with flexibility for varied environments and scalability for use with numerous instances or for quickly configuring, provisioning, and deploying a new environment.
- Enhance the CI/CD pipeline to ensure predictably, consistency, and reliability of builds and deployments.
- Support and improve software tools, infrastructure, and processes that support rapid and reliable delivery of high-quality software to the production service.
- Identify and advocate for improvements to build and release toolchain.
- Support deployment activities of development and production releases, including troubleshooting of release blockers such as infrastructure, configuration, and code.
