Summary:
As a Software Engineer for RedBuilt LLC, your primary focus will be on designing, overseeing, developing, deploying and maintaining robust business solutions. This is full-stack work in a fast paced, independent, and self-directed environment. If you have an interest in leading and working on an array of business solution components (web applications, desktop applications, devops, scripting, process creation and documentation, user requirements, support and troubleshooting, Power Platform, etc.), with the opportunity to directly influence a growing company's digital strategy, this position could be a great fit for you. Additionally, you'll work as part of a small IT team, in a flat, lean, no-nonsense organization on its way up. The CIO will be your skip level. That's right, say goodbye to bureaucratic overhead. In this role, you will participate in and direct a team of software developers to collectively:
- Collaborate with business analysts and internal customers to:
- Identify end-user requirements.
- Create high-level solution designs.
- Produce efficient, elegant code to meet identified requirements
- This may be done in Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code or a platform-specific interface.
- Test and deploy solutions:
- Write test plans, and execute as needed.
- Write technical documentation
- Deploy solutions using devops pipelines and/or an end point manager.
- Troubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing solutions:
- Interact directly with end users to identify bugs.
- Address issues with the necessary level of urgency.
- Compile and assess user feedback:
- Identify and design new features.
- Influence new feature prioritization and user acceptance.
Requirements, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field.
- 5 years of applicable IT related experience.
- Proficiency in C# and experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Azure DevOps (Including Pipelines)
- Cloud Services: Familiarity with cloud-based data services.
- Agile Development Practices: Comfortable working in an agile environment.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Analyze data-related challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Effective Communication: Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fantastic organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-driven and thrives working autonomously.
- Skilled in building strong relationships and effectively communicating information through verbal and written correspondence.
Additional Skills (desired):
- Strong SQL Skills: Ability to write efficient and complex SQL queries.
- Predictive analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence
- Autodesk Revit development
- NetSuite
- Microsoft Power Platform
- VBA
Working Conditions:
- Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.
- Travels up to 10% of the time, with increased travel during first two months of employment
