Position Summary:

The Monfort College of Business invites applicationsfor a non-tenure track Instructor in Finance(contract renewable), starting in the Fall of 2024. Responsibilities willinclude teaching several undergraduate courses in Finance during the fall andspring semesters, service to the department, and community engagement. Theposition is non-tenure track and is a 9-month, full time position in thedepartment of Finance. For more information about the college, please see mcb.unco.edu.

Candidates must have completed a Master'sdegree in Finance or a related business field or have at least two years of professionalFinance experience. Prior collegiate teaching experience is preferred, butapplicants with other teaching experience or evidence of potential for teachingexcellence will be considered.

We seek a person who will teach Financewith enthusiasm and integrity, demonstrate significant commitment to thesuccess of our students and Finance program, and contribute to the collegialityof our department. The position will involve a combination of teaching Financecourses, engaging with Finance recruiters and the Finance profession, andworking with the department to enhance our outreach to potential students andthe community.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants will have completed a Master's degree in Finance ora Master's degree in a related business field.

PreferredQualifications:

Preferred applicants will have the ability to design andteach multiple courses in Finance and will have prior teaching experience. Two(2) years of full-time experience in a professional Finance field is preferredbut not required.

This position is contingent on funding from the Colorado State Legislature, approval by the Board of Trustees, and subject to the policies and regulations of the University of Northern Colorado.
