BAE Systems is seeking a Proposal Manager to support the Combat Mission Systems Supply Chain business area. This position involves supervising efforts across functions to gather essential information, ensuring proposals are not only accurate and compliant but also reflect our organization's capabilities and strengths in a compelling manner. The Proposal Manager is responsible for supervising the Bill of Material, Proposal, and Cost Analysts during the proposal phase of each Government Program. The Proposal Manager is responsible for the FAR/DFARS PART 15/215 compliant output of the analysts, protect the company's margins during the proposal, risk mitigation, and all aspects of the material estimate that is included in BAE Systems Prime Proposal.

Required Skills and Education
- BS/BA degree and Eight (8) years' experience in Supply Chain or Proposal Role or equivalent experience
- Strong writing skills with a high complexing required to support proposal exhibits and contract/program execution's coming from our U.S. Government regulations
- Strong demonstrated negotiation skills and strategies
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building, leading through influence, and the ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) at all levels
- Experience effectively communicating externally either with customers or suppliers
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Developing internal/external/cross-cultural partner relationships
- Ability to travel when needed

Preferred Skills and Education
- Master's degree in business administration
- Ten (10) years' experience working on DoD proposals and contracts
- Demonstrated experience resolving FAR/DFARS concerns of the Government.
- Prior experience in Operations/Supply Chain Management
- Ability to analyze proposals and bill of materials
- Demonstrated Risk Management experience
