Job Title: Software Engineer
Job Location: Huntsville, Alabama
Required Experience:
- 10+ years of experience developing and maintaining SW applications in Java or similar language(s)
- Advanced SW development concepts and patterns to support continued improvement and modernization of existing systems
- Developing secure SW with consideration of cyber and RMF requirements
- Systems/Software Engineering principles, including requirements analysis/design and testing and verification
- Developing SW in a DevSecOps environment utilizing CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Experience designing complex systems and leading the migration of legacy systems/processes
- Experience working with SAFe Agile Framework.
Desired Experience:
- Agile Solution level planning, which includes epic decomposition for multiple agile teams
- Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and familiarity with radar sensor tasking and track management
- Familiar with Space Situational Awareness (SSA) and the tracking of orbital objects.
