Directs a large broad-based, multi-sectioned office responsible for the Title I and Title IV grants, including family engagement and community outreach in Title I schools; provides leadership in the assessment of student, family, and community needs to provide best-in-class learning; directs the collaborative development of curriculum and instructional program resources for the Title I schools, families, and community and associated professional development; provides leadership and guidance for the financial management of the Title I grant; works to continually align school needs with grant fund allocations; develops and represents the annual Title I Plan; monitors compliance with state and federal policy and regulations; plans, organizes, supervises, and evaluates all activities, program functions, personnel, and physical and fiscal resources of the assigned office; is responsible and accountable for strategic planning and outcomes.

Qualifications

Required
  • Master's degree.
  • Six (6) years of experience in teaching and/or administration and supervision in a related specialty.
    • Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
  • Postgraduate educational license with endorsement(s) designated as appropriate to assignment.
  • Administration and supervision Prek-12 endorsement.
  • Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods, and current trends of school administration.
  • Knowledge of learning theory, effective teaching models, and student learning assessment.
  • Familiarity with applicable regulations, legislations, and policies, such as Title I, II, & IV and CARES/ESSER.
  • Knowledge of Title I, grant implementation, cultural competency, equity, inclusion, and diversity.
  • Strong organizational and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to manage fiscal, physical, and human resources to successfully carry out the function and programs of the office.
  • Ability to problem-solve multifaceted issues by analyzing information, evaluating results, and choosing the best approach to short- and long-term problems.
  • Ability to facilitate group processes, engage in conflict resolution, and promote positive decision-making to build consensus.
  • Capacity to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with students, families, personnel assigned to schools, and community associations.
  • Proficiency in the use of technology, data compilation, analysis, and reporting analysis.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Preferred
  • Experience with grants management.
