Assembly Engineer 2- TS/SCI with Poly

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for optimizing processes used in microelectronic manufacturing to develop and perform processes for single and multiple component assembly efforts.
• Coordinates day-to-day operation of assembly tools.
• Performs engineering sustainment functions and supports component level packaging, printed circuit board (PCB) assembly, and PCB design engineering efforts.

Requirements:

• Perform standard microelectronics package/component selection.
• Design manufacturing fixtures to facilitate the assembly of complex microelectronics.
• Demonstrate knowledge of IPC workmanship standards for PCB assemblies

Clearance Required:

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or the Physical Sciences.
• In lieu of a bachelor's degree, four (4) additional years of experience for a total of nine (9) years of experience plus registration as a Professional Engineer or successful completion of the state Engineer in Training exam.

Minimum Years of Experience:

• Five (5) years of experience in microelectronics design and assembly, semiconductor and integrated circuit quality assurance, and materials/science/fabrication.
