The Senior Channel Marketing Manager will create and implement trade marketing strategies that align with overall business objectives and support sales growth. The manager will lead the design and implementation of commercial plans to optimize success within the Direct and InDirect sales channels for Goldwell, KMS and Kerasilk with an omni-channel approach.

What you will do:
- Develop and execute against Kao America's regional l marketing assets for Indirect Distribution ( Omni-Channel ) and Kao Direct market aligned to meet annual sales budget and profit margin.
- Develop expertise in salon marketing programs by establishing relationships with Kao Sales Leadership, distributor management team and other channel customers (Partner Services, Multi-location salons, Salon Suites).
- Manage 2 direct reports that will be responsible in Managing Trade Promotions: Planning and executing trade promotions, including pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and merchandising initiatives to drive sales and enhance brand visibility.
- Work in conjunction with brand team to establish promotional period themes. Activity includes alignment with distributor sales and merchandising teams.
- Collaborate with the brand team the development and the execution of the Distributor Buyers Guide and the Salon Business Builder.
- Develop and Deploy Kao Academy and Education initiatives for US Salon.
- Work cross functionally with SCM, Finance to reduce liability with excess inventory/exposure.
What you will need:
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience preferred, Master of Business Administration degree a plus.
- 7+ years of professional experience CPG/Beauty Experience a plus.
- 5+ years of Trade/Category Marketing preferred with retailers/distributors preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 with a strong emphasis in Microsoft excel, Salesforce, Adobe.
