Plans, assigns, and manages the work of employee wellness teams; develops, implements, manages, and analyzes a systemwide health promotion and wellness program for Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) employees; provides consultative and coaching support divisionwide; collaborates with county organizations regarding employee health regulation compliance; researches, plans, and manages employee wellness policies and develops supporting communications plans.

Qualifications
Required
- Any combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in public health, health and physical education or a health-related field, including or supplemented by courses relating to health, physical fitness, nutrition, and/or corporate wellness.
- Four (4) years of experience in a health-related and/or clinical field.
- Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
- Knowledge of the theory, procedures, and practices related to health and welfare benefits.
- Knowledge of the philosophy, goals, and activities required to implement and manage a comprehensive employee wellness program.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with other professionals within the schools, agencies, and communities.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
- Knowledge and skill in the development of multi-media communication tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups.
- Possession of a current license to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
