JOB SUMMARY:
The IT Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of purchasing and efficiently and cost-effectively supports Information Technology organizational operations across the CECO global landscape. This position requires prior experience generating purchase orders for IT equipment, tools, parts and supplies, vendor and supplier management, contract lifecycle management, and IT resource acquisitions as they relate to daily business needs as well as large project implementations. This position manages the full IT asset lifecycle (to include planning, scheduling, deliveries, inventory tracking, and retirement), IT licensing, as well as the management and procurement of third-party services to optimize the delivery of CECO IT services in support of production schedules and business demands.

- Sources equipment, goods, and services along with vendor identification and management.
- Reviews purchase requisitions and confers with suppliers to obtain product information such as price, availability and delivery schedule.
- Receives price quotes from vendors, compares quotes against requirements and the budget, and purchases orders.
- Negotiates purchase orders and closes deals with optimal terms.
- Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered.
- Resolves any shipment errors with suppliers.
- Supports the develop and implementation of new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification.
- Reviews bid proposals and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority.
- Manages purchasing/receiving/invoice processing utilizing the appropriate ERP and procurement tools.
- Assists in managing vendor partnerships and relationships to ensure optimal pricing and services across CECO's IT landscape.
- Maintains positive and cooperative communications with all stakeholders.
- Works with IT management to develop and define IT asset standards and administrative best practices.
- Develops and maintains IT customer portals and workflows to develop standardized procurement practices across the global business landscape.
- Tracks contracts across the contractual lifecycle, and assists IT management in contract negotiation, management, and renewal processes.
- Maintains the IT pricing and preferred vendor listings for global IT procurement.
- Suggests procurement process and vendor management optimization opportunities to ensure that CECO is always working to enhance IT value and cost savings for our global businesses.
- Complies with all pertinent legal, regulatory, and policy requirements.
- Generates relevant and appropriate budgetary cost and spending reporting on a regular cadence, and ensures proper IT budgetary tracking under the guidance of IT Senior Leadership.
- Processes invoices based upon CECO accounting policies and customer invoicing requirements.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or business administration preferred.
- Five to seven years' experience purchasing in a sub-contract, manufacturing, or project environment.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management required.
- Global hardware and software procurement experience preferred.
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
- Ability to gather and analyze data.
- Microsoft Office proficiency with an emphasis on Excel.
- Solid judgment, decision making skills and leadership capabilities.
- Highly motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Exceptional negotiation skills.

- None.
COMPETENCIES
KNOWLEDGE:
- Microsoft Office Suite; ERP systems, ADP, Epicor and/or D365 is beneficial. Familiarity with EPM tools (e.g., Hyperion, TM1, etc.) preferred.
