In support of Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault we are seeking a Equipment Specialist III with experience in supporting DOD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/ principles/organizational protocols. Provides sustainment logistics management support to the Program Management Office and Logistics Management Specialist; this includes all phases of supportability analysis, supportability planning, and sustainment management. Support is required throughout the period of performance for each of the principal systems.
The specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
Education/Experience:
A Bachelors Degree and eight (8) years of progressive experience or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience in life cycle logistics planning and sustainment management. Good oral and written communication skills and analytical capabilities required.
Specific/Preferred Requirements:
Must possess the appropriate license and skill to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and motor forklifts up to 10,000 pounds lift capacity.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is commonly required to speak, hear, walk, sit, stand and balance; regularly required to use hands and reach with arms. The employee may on occasion lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus with or without corrective lenses.

The specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide senior-level experience and assist the Government ACV Equipment Specialist in cataloging and the provisioning of parts.
- Access applicable federal logistics websites and have continuous access to Catalyst (Provisioning and Publications).
- Respond to and research Fleet Trouble calls for active duty and reserve units including requests for support establishments and from operational forces, the DLA, and Marine Corps LOGCOM, and Blount Island Command.
- Conduct document and data management; prepare informational briefings; and perform PDREP action point responsibilities to review, research, and recommend solutions to the PQDRs, review/answer any DLA 339 (Engineering Support Requests) for the ACV daily or as requested; and review and answer fleet Publication Change Request.
- Maintain access to all required websites and be prepared to travel in support of PM AAA.
- Perform a variety of warehousing duties at a Government provided location normally within 20 miles of Albany, GA, and may be required to perform warehousing duties at ACV field locations.
- Perform when requested and or authorized to ship and receive materials on the Government's behalf.
- Shall perform the same duties as all other equipment specialists.
- Attend all given equipment specialist training when the Contractor is allowed by government entity giving the training.
- Possess knowledge of publications and document management.
- Maintain a forklift license to operate forklift(s) in support of warehouse duties.
