Overview

The Talent Program Manager will lead global initiatives encompassing core people processes, including but not limited to Talent Review, Performance Calibration, Succession Planning, Leadership Development, Organizational Planning and Design. This role is critical in integrating talent development into our overall talent strategy, ensuring the implementation of industry-leading talent processes that align with and advance business objectives and ultimately result in having a robust internal talent pipeline.

As a key player in the Talent Management Center of Excellence (COE), the Talent Program Manager will collaborate closely with HR and business stakeholders to support holistic efforts in talent strategy. This involves not only defining and refining robust talent programs but also anticipating future organizational needs to develop leadership solutions for today's and tomorrow's business challenges.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in executing talent programs and managing multiple priorities, including resolving complex problems. Experience in Talent Management, Organizational development or as an HR Business Partner is preferred. The role demands strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and comfort with navigating ambiguity in a dynamic global environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the work to build, manage, and optimize the Talent Management COE operational model, including global initiatives related to talent management processes/programs and HR priorities across the organization.
  • Supports leadership with talent organization review using modules for succession planning, professional development, and training.
  • Utilize data and case-based recommendations derived from success metric work to drive continuous improvement across initiatives.
  • Partner across broader stakeholders to analyze relevant data and trends, interpret results, and define insights for robust storytelling and impact/influence to define our overall talent narrative.
  • Consults with HR leadership team on effective talent management processes, and serves as a subject matter expert in these processes for HR Business Partners and business stakeholders.
  • Develop methods and metrics to ensure the execution of milestones ensuring understanding of processes and rhythm of business.
  • Evolve our Talent Management resources and content to build understanding and increase adoption across AIT, leveraging change management techniques and robust communication plans that this role will have a hand in creating and executing.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to remove complexity from the system and strengthen the capabilities across how we know, grow, and create agility within our teammates.
  • Support the Talent Management COE in crafting content for and delivering presentations to leadership.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.


Qualifications

Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related discipline required; Master's Degree preferred.

Licenses and Certifications
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) certification preferred

Experience Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in HR practices or program/project management required
  • 3+ years of experience in HR, Talent Management, and/or Organizational Development required
  • 3+ years of experience managing large-scale or complex projects/programs preferred
  • 3+ years of experience managing organizational talent initiatives preferred
  • 3+ years of experience executing multi-faceted HR initiatives and business projects preferred
  • 3+ years of experience operating in a complex, matrixed environment preferred
  • 3+ years of experience working across organizational, functional, and geographic boundaries preferred

Skills and Abilities
  • Domain knowledge in Performance Management, Talent Review, Succession Planning, and Internal Mobility (High proficiency)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and confidently convey information to teammates at all levels (High proficiency)
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a process improvement mentality and ability to influence others with data-driven recommendations (High proficiency)
  • Excellent prioritization and planning skills with strong attention to detail (High proficiency)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) (High proficiency)
  • Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment and interest in supporting a global team across multiple time zones (High proficiency)
  • Ability to handle responsibilities independently, while exercising good judgment in problem solving and keeping team members adequately informed (High proficiency)
  • Understands the features and detailed functional requirements of the work, as well as the end user's/customer's needs (High proficiency)
  • Background and experience working in a Talent Management COE (Medium proficiency)
  • HR Project Management experience, with experience scoping, leading, and delivering complex projects. The right candidate will have a track record of project management from conception and design through implementation, measurement, and continuous improvement, with knowledge of project management tools and program management lifecycle (Medium proficiency)
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods, tools, techniques, and industry best practices and standards (Medium proficiency)
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in time-sensitive matters and to manage and track multiple priorities simultaneously, switching gears at a moment's notice when necessary (Medium proficiency)
