Experience: 3+ years in aerospace processing engineering or relative years of experience
Job Duties:
- Assist with customer documentation incoming and flow down to supplier
- Create and manage technical aspects of the machining program including blueprint and CATIA model reading, interpreting specifications following customer requirements
- Develop detailed instructions from technical sources
- Document data control
- Assist processing department on the methods engineering tasks
- Assist with engineering and production to develop efficient and strong processing methods
- Create 2D drawings and modify 3D model using CATIA V5, in needed
- Work alongside front-line Processing employees with honesty and high integrity
Requirements:
- 3+ years of methods engineering background or experience in aerospace required
- 3+ years knowledge in Chemical and Paint Processes, preferred
- Previous experience with Shot Peen forming and manual saturation techniques, preferred
- Previous experience and intermediate knowledge of CATIA V5, required
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, related field or years of relative work experience
- Previous experience working within an ERP system, preferred
- Lean manufacturing and training, preferred
- Ability to understand aviation drawings, models and specifications
- Detail oriented, very organized with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English language
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Greencard" holder
Working Conditions:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Regular attendance is mandatory and must follow all work safety programs
- The essential duties job may require the ability to stoop; to reach; to stand, to walk and sit for extended periods of time; to push and/or pull objects weighing up to 30 pounds; to lift and carry objects weighing up to 15 pounds; to use finger dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment and hand strength to grasp files and other objects; to perceive the attributes of objects by touch; to hear and verbally exchange ideas and information with the public, staff and others on the phone and in the office. Frequently being on foot, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, climb stairs and kneeling and/or crouch to retrieve files and other items. Writing to complete reports and service requests.
