OBJECTIVE:
- MDCPS seeks an experienced professional with a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple
- business processes, or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide
- quality work to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment to
- meet customer needs. Demonstrates expertise in delivering functional and technical solutions on moderately complex
- configurations. Effectively consults with management. Participate in business development activities. Develop detailed
- solutions for rather involved projects.
POSITION SUMMARY:
- This position is full-time (40 hours weekly) and requires an individual to direct the implementation of a new CCWIS
- Cloud-Based hosted solution. This individual will also provide project management services to the CIO and the agency
- executive staff on other projects when required.
Major Responsibilities
- -IT Project Management;
- -Project Documentation;
- -Plan, Organize, and Lead Project Meetings;
- -Other IT-related tasks as agreed upon by the parties;
- -IT Procurement consultation;
- -Coordinate the PMO team.
To be considered, all proposed consultants must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- - Ten (10) years of IT Project Management experience
- - Five (7) years of IT Integration experience
- - Four (7) years of managing software implementation projects
- - Excellent English-speaking skills, written communication skills, and knowledge transfer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Child Welfare processes and workflows
- Experience with federal requirements for Child Welfare management systems
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to build a positive rapport with team members
- Ability to manage conflict between team members and vendors
- Ability to manage changes in objectives with little to no notice
- Experience developing and maintaining meticulous documentation of project activities
