This position is an extended arm of the Global Project Implementation Team responsible for project implementation and digital product promotion in North and South America. The candidate will have to drive digital product implementation in regional offices in line with corporate direction and communicate with customers, vendors, and customs on regional requirements for process and system integration.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis - Collect and clean data from various sources including shipment records, tracking data, inventory reports, customer interactions and more. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets to uncover insights that can inform operational strategies.
  • Data Preprocessing and Feature Engineering - Preprocess and engineer features from raw data, ensuring data quality, consistency, and relevance for AI model training. Implement data transformation pipelines and feature extraction techniques to extract meaningful insights from diverse data sources.
  • ML/AI solution design and development - Develop statistical and machine learning models to predict demand fluctuations, lead times, and market trends, enabling better equipment management and sales strategies. Combine NLP with structured data analysis to extract insights from unstructured sources like customer feedback, emails, vendor communication, and industry news to inform supply chain strategies. Conduct in-depth experiment on algorithms and libraries during business solution delivery to define standard solution patterns, architectures and methodologies.
  • Business Problem Identification and Analysis - Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand business processes, identify problems and opportunities for business improvement and data science solution implementation.
  • Supply Chain Optimization - Collaborate with business users to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement. Use optimization techniques to solve complex logistics problems, such as vessel routing, load planning, and network optimization.
  • Data Visualization and Reporting - Create informative and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with software engineers to design and create intelligent business solutions. Work closely with business users to understand their challenges and design data-driven solutions.
  • Continuous Learning - Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and logistics technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into the workflow.


Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python for data manipulation, analysis, and modelling
  • Experience with Gen AI solution developments with models and libraries like GPT, LangChain, Transformers
  • Strong understanding of machine learning techniques, statistics, and optimization algorithms
  • Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI, or matplotlib/seaborn for effective communication of insights
  • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain concepts, including transportation modes, inventory management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business questions into analytical solutions
  • Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Operations Research, Statistics)
  • Previous experience in the logistics industry or related field is a plus
