Physician - Urgent Care Medical Director

Tanner Health System is seeking a Board Certified Family Medicine physician to serve as the Medical Director for our three Urgent Care practices.

Position Highlights:

• Provide oversight to 3 locations: Carrollton, Villa Rica, and Bremen, GA
• Role is designed to be 50% clinical and 50% administrative
  • Schedule will include 2 - 12 hours working days in clinic; 16 hours administrative time
  • One weekend per month required
• Participate in provider recruitment and orient new providers
• Review, sign and supervise APPs
• Provide chart reviews, corrective action, and provider performance reviews
• Attend Tanner Medical Group provider meetings; facilitate internal staff meetings; effectively communicate clinical updates and procedural changes to all providers

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• DOT Certification preferred
• Georgia Medical licensure or eligibility
