Regional Sales Manager

As a Regional Sales Manager at Tipalti, you will be a key leader in the Commercial Organization responsible for fostering a team and driving revenue growth in your market. You will be responsible for supporting a team of Account Executives, developing and executing strategic sales plans, cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders, and consistently exceeding sales targets. In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Meet monthly/quarterly/annual new business sales objectives
  • Provide accurate forecasts to the sales organization and executive management team
  • Owns hiring and all staffing demands of a team of 5-8 Account Executives
  • Manage territory plans, drive pipeline activities, account & opportunity reviews, & ensures team keeps SFDC up-to-date
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Tipalti's product line and value proposition
  • Demonstrate clear understanding of Tipalti's sales process and product value propositions
  • Coaches on the following: positions, scopes, architects & contracts SaaS solutions for unique business segment that we serve
  • Models & coaches to critical sales skills & behaviors, including value-based selling
  • Manage & coach to all applicable sales tools
  • Understands system landscapes, common challenges & pains of F&A groups we sell into
  • Works cross-functionally to align needed resources and supportive roles to assist in pipeline building, client success, and team development
  • Have a passion for developing strategic sales reps into elite sales people
  • Adheres to the highest standards of integrity & leadership
  • Embodies executive credibility & presence

About you
  • Consistent track record for running a metric driven, sales team with proven results
  • Proven ability to hire, train, promote and retain top sales talent
  • 2+ years of technology sales leadership experience or equivalent management experience
  • Excellent leader and coach
  • Highly motivated professional with excellent interpersonal, communication, and creativity skills
  • High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment and professionalism
  • Self-starter with solid organizational and planning skills
  • Bachelor's Degree required

The annual compensation range for this role is $240,000 - $270,000 CAD. The range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions target and annual base salary for the role. The estimated base salary for this role is $120,000 - 135,000 CAD.
