The Role
Are you an EHS Manager looking for a rewarding new role? At Doncasters, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team.
As the EHS Manager your role is to be responsible for developing and implementing the Company's commitment to provide a safe and healthy working environment for all our employees.
As the EHS Manager you will plan, organize, implement and monitor, review, report and champion the Company's safety, health and Environmental requirements. You will develop, implement and monitor site-specific initiatives to engage all employees in the safety and health programs in support of annual business line objectives and ensure all employees are trained in required EH S programs. You will be required to maintain a thorough understanding of relevant and constantly changing legislation and EHS Management System standards. It is critical that this person in this role develops a culture that identifies health and safety opportunities and documents those for trends and predictive analysis.
As the EHS Manager you will assess the sites current EHS performance, identify and prioritize the sites key EHS needs. Measure and monitor the progress against EHS performance standards, strategies, objectives, performance targets and report these to relevant parties in a timely manner. Furthermore, you will be required to perform hazard risk analysis, determination of effective controls and risk mitigation. This candidate will assure compliance with all regulatory reporting and compliance requirements.
This role will facilitate near-miss, injury/illness root-cause investigations and medical case management as the subject matter expert. The EHS Manager will drive employee engagement in workplace safety through education, coaching, and recognition.

If you have any of these skills, we would love to hear from you;
- Minimum of 5 years is required in a related EHS Role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant subject preferred or three years working EHS experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of local, regional and federal EHS regulations.
- Knowledge of EHS Management Systems to ISO requirements.
- Experience managing and improving EHS systems.
