Your Tasks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with senior buyers, design engineers and key decision makers within each OEM end user.
  • Persuade clients that our product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.
  • Be able to identify Targeted projects for Drr based on client information and discussions with Drr management.
  • Prepare sales forecast and keep account pipeline updated for assigned OEM accounts within the CRM system.
  • Team leader for client proposals. Team may consist of cross-functional / other Drr division members.
  • Responsible for assembling and submitting a professional quality level proposal that puts Drr in the most competitive position to win the project.
  • Responsible for setting strategy on project in concert with the Director of Sales, Applications Engineering and Management.
  • Put Drr in the best possible position to win Targeted projects.
  • Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs while following Drr standard guidelines for risk avoidance.
  • Provide clear and factual client feedback to Drr management of any opportunities or issues.
  • Establish effective internal communications regarding customers, products and services in order to maximize sales effectiveness.
  • Participate in relevant trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
  • Develop professional sales presentations tailored to the potential customer needs requirements.
  • Liaise with other members of the sales team and other departments / Drr divisions to ensure good communication with each OEM.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Drr products, trends and developments in the industry.
  • Maintain up-to-date OEM organization chart for purchasing, engineering and manufacturing.
  • Understand Drr competition and project specific competition picture.
  • Manage travel expenses within policy guidelines.
  • Travel as needed.

Your Skills
  • Bachelor Degree / Bachelor of Science preferred
  • A minimum of four years selling technical solution products into OEM customers preferred
  • Experience with developing effective strategies and selling proposals that win new orders preferred
  • General process engineering knowledge and/or industry process knowledge preferred
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with application engineering and operations groups relative to the application of products and execution of projects is desirable
  • PC literate with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication, persuasion, diplomatic and interpersonal skills
  • Creativity for developing project bid alternates unique for Drr that provide competitive advantage
  • Good time management skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Able to work well independently and in a team environment
  • Able to define problems and propose solutions
  • Willing and able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when necessary
  • Physical Demands: While performing duties of job, incumbent is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and use hands and arms. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and distance vision.
