ECS is seeking a Senior Missile Engineer I to work in our Warner Robins, GA office.
ECS is seeking a highly qualified Missile Engineer I with an active Secret Clearance to work on our project at Robins Air Force Base, GA. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment. Must hold and maintain a valid Secret Security Clearance.
The candidate will be involved with product sustainment, product development, lab support, and engineering services in support of the Operational Flight Program (OFP), Test Program Set (TPS) development and support, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance software and Mission Support (MS) business lines. Candidate will assist in evaluating current systems, planning of large-scale system projects, purchasing, installing and support of network communications, including LAN/WAN systems.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- The selected candidate will devise and/or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, analyze test results, debug, participate with testing process such as test review/validation and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.
- Develops plans, coordinates work teams and provides technical support to project team members.
- Supports engineering function in developing, releasing, and maintaining of software applications according to the project needs.
- Supports all phases of hardware lifecycle management which include evaluating, planning, purchase, deployment, maintenance, recycling of hardware and documentation.
- Works with preplanning and organizational process teams, as required for the acquisition of new/replacement IT systems.
- Reviews and analyzes specifications related to software development and hardware integration.
- Develops design documentation.
- Supports the management team with effective team communication, proactive problem solving, information distribution.
- Supports multiple projects of varying sizes and technical complexity.
- Evaluates and recommends hardware and software for system enhancements, upgrades, and future projects.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- US Citizen
- BS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering from an ABET accredited school.
- Minimum 8 years' experience with HARM, MALD, AAMRAM or other relevant missile software development required.
- Experience in integration and evaluation of software that relates to one or more of the following: brings new capability or functions; evaluates potential impacts of integrating Commercial/Government off-the-shelf (COTS/GOTS) modules into a weapon system baseline; provides engineering oversight for applicable missile architecture and specifically focused on MIL STD 1553, 1760, and other software interface protocols; ensures interoperability between multiple variants of the same system; ensures testing requirements and SILs are meeting operational requirements; ensures reprogramming tools meet operation requirements; contributes to software and system design reviews, supporting documentation, or studies.
