Description:

ECS is seeking a KPI Data and Requirements Analyst to work in our Seaside, Ca office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon [additional funding].
  • Serve as the primary Data and Requirements Analyst for client's Cybersecurity and Privacy Divisions' KPI and Dashboard project
  • Based on Data and Requirements analysis, design, create KPI mock-ups, and maintain KPIs to measure business performance and drive client's decision-making capabilities.
  • Aggregate and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Identify data trends and insights to provide KPIs to solve significant business problems.
  • Support KPI and Dashboard developer to create and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data insights.
  • Conduct testing based on requirements traceability matrix, ensuring requirement compliance, data accuracy, reliability and integrity of data presented in dashboards and reports.
  • Conduct quantitative data analysis of complex business situations.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager, developers and various stakeholders to understand data needs, requirements and provide KPI driven solutions for actionable insights.
  • Create and maintain documentation supporting the development, such as SOPs, etc.
  • Create presentations as requested. Create weekly, monthly and in-progress review presentations, as needed.


  • Must be a US citizen per contract, possess an active Position of Public Trust, or preferably a Secret Clearance. Must be willing to acquire and maintain a Secret clearance if requested
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information security, or similar discipline AND 5+ years of data analyst experience, in support of the DoD or other federal clients. Education/Experience substitution allowable
  • Proven experience as a Senior Data Analyst or similar role
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Use case or storyboarding experience
  • Excellent agile and iterative data analysis, KPI development to support and defend data-driven decision-making regarding cybersecurity and privacy
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with government and contract leadership, while conveying highly technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Capacity to thrive in a complex, fast paced environment with competing demands while delivering consistent, high-quality commitment to mission-critical systems and solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal skills are required
