The Sr. Director of Omni-Channel Marketing is responsible for leading the overarching US omnichannel marketing strategy & Online strategy for all retailer online accounts & the Benefit US E-commerce business. This position is responsible for the cohesion and consistency of marketing across businesses to best provide an enhanced customer shopping experience that supports all US channel sales. This individual will manage the Omni-Channel Marketing Managers that support the retail accounts and the US E-commerce team.

The primary objective of the Sr. Director will be growing Benefit's e-commerce sales across owned and existing partner sites while identifying new business strategies to broaden Benefit's presence, customer base and sales online. The Sr. Director will also lead the strategic direction for Omni-Channel Marketing and drive the calendar programming to deliver incremental brand exposure, win the digitally-connected omni-channel consumer & ultimately, delivers sales growth. They will be the primary point-of-contact for the internal Wholesale teams along with global product & global digital teams for all omni-channel marketing. This role, in conjunction with the Omni-Channel Marketing Managers, will own the product marketing briefing with the internal creative teams for all launch/marketing assets needed.

What You'll Do:
  • Retailer & US E-commerce:
    • Develop and supervise sales strategies for Benefit's e-commerce and retailer channels to meet online targets.
    • Conducted detailed sales analyses; presented actionable insights and regular reports to executive leadership.
    • Manage P&L for e-commerce platforms; lead budgetary meetings and planning.
    • Innovate distribution strategies; explore new partnership opportunities for market expansion.
    • Curate an overarching promotional calendar; synchronize marketing activities across all channels.
    • Lead online-only marketing and promotions with internal teams, working with internal product development, global digital and wholesale channels to advocate for online-specific needs that drive business.
    • Stay informed and drive big-picture E-commerce trends, site enhancements or digital developments that will ultimately enhance customer experience and sales.
  • Content & CRM Coordination:
    • Guide the content strategy; ensure that merchandise displays on e-commerce sites drive conversion.
    • Administer the CRM loyalty program; collaborate with retail partners on tailored CRM initiatives.
    • Partner with the Marketing team to develop SEM, Retargeting & paid media strategy that drives to Benefit E-commerce + plan out retailer-specific media campaigns.
  • Omni-Channel Marketing Leadership:
    • Drive the overarching Omni-channel marketing strategy that delivers robust plans in support of monthly themes, new product launches, pillar products that will drive incremental retail exposure while working with retailer guidelines. Act as lead for strategy along with other US marketing leaders.
    • Oversee and drive Omni-Channel Managers + E-commerce teams to deliver on marketing programs that support strategy; programs should scale online/offline (where applicable), increasing awareness, customer base & sales. Tactics should vary by channel but fit within campaign container.
    • Lead strategy and timelines in partnership with Omni-team to drive all marketing and sales content/creative needs to best merchandise Benefit brand/product pages for all new/core products that help drive interest & conversion.
    • Own and manage a calendar roll-up of all channel marketing and publish to cross-functional teams for visibility & cohesion.


Qualifications
  • Experience: 8-10+ years of previous experience with relevant retail account management and/or e-commerce background, with strong marketing understanding preferred.
  • Customer-first approach: Must demonstrate an acute understanding of consumer needs/behaviors coupled with a dedication toward achieving high levels of customer satisfaction & loyalty via innovative market approaches
  • Digital Expert: Deep knowledge within the digital domain (online merchandising & digital advertising) and adept at leveraging this expertise for business growth
  • Exceptional analytical skills: Must possess the ability to derive meaningful insights from data analysis, communicate them effectively, and collaborate on developing/implementing new initiatives that drive tangible outcomes
  • Excellent project management skills: Independently driven and capable of thriving within high-intensity environments managing multiple projects whilst meeting demanding deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail: Demonstrated proficiency in writing/editing web content adhering to grammatical/punctuation standards
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Strong leadership capabilities with ability to guide cross-functional teams collaboratively towards common objectives while fostering an environment conducive to open communication and teamwork.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint)


Schedule:

  • Hybrid - requires onsite presence weekly
  • This position is based out of our Global Headquarters corporate office in San Francisco, CA.


The target salary range for this position is $195,000 - $225,000 annually. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus.
