OVERVIEW OF ROLE:
The Senior Supply Planning Analyst is a value-added member of our Supply Chain team. The incumbent will become familiar with our ERP system and develop an understanding of how sales forecasting coincides with the plant production schedules and our material requirement planning process. To be successful in this role, the Senior Supply Planning Analyst must understand the nodes of our supply chain to analyze key metrics, have a strong attention for data accuracy, and have a desire to learn and continuously improve.

The Senior Supply Planning Analyst is a value-added member of our Supply Chain team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Advanced Analytics & Process Improvement:
- Utilize advanced analytics to assess supply chain performance, identify potential risks and opportunities and provide stakeholder visibility.
- Evaluate potential risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Support development and documentation of new Standard Operating Procedures and improvements to existing ones.
- Implement best practices and leverage technology to streamline supply chain processes and systems for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on inventory levels, service levels, trend monitoring of sales and manufacturing throughput, and other key performance indicators.
- System Management & Communication:
- Manage the Production Calendar, coordinating with all stakeholders to account for hours of operation, planned downtime, maintenance, and capital projects.
- Communicate and coordinate requirements for co-packed items with vendors to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Manage the supply forecast overrides to account for unique order fulfillment dates of 3PLs, Limited Time Offers and promotional events.
- Conduct routine assessments of scheduling inputs, making necessary adjustments in the ERP planning system to maintain accuracy
- Develop and maintain test cases and scenarios for quarterly ERP upgrades based on system requirements.
- Validate that new features, enhancements, and bug fixes function correctly and do not negatively impact existing system functionalities.
- Key contributor in set up of multi-site manufacturing model and item-location requirement settings
- Supply Planning:
- Serve as a backup to Production Planning Manager for compiling and managing the production schedule.
- Routine review of forecast and production variability and product lifecycle stage to determine appropriate updates to supply planning settings and targets.
- Own routine evaluation of demand plan inputs by monitoring trends and optimal forecast model by assortment segmentation
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and provide recommendations for scenario planning and trade off assessments
- Support the planning and execution of New Product Development tests and initial production
- Support the planning and inventory management of discontinued items
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Sales, Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, Engineering, Logistics, and Finance, to align supply planning efforts with business objectives.
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain to include master scheduling/material planning in a food/beverage environment preferred
- Exposure to ERP systems in relationship to multiple level BOM's, Work Centers, Forecasts, Capacity Planning, MPS, and MRP preferred
- General knowledge of MRP, including lot size, lead time, scrap factors, yield factors, and safety stock preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- Power BI experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT:
- Must have good vision and manual dexterity.
- Able to sit / stand for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
- The noise level in the office environment is typically moderate.
- Company provided Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) must be worn while on the production floor
