Manage Melanoma clinical and research databases, under MRIE
- Organize, update and maintain clinical and research databases, including:
- Patient clinical databases
- Registry databases
- Translational research databases
- Help coordinate and implement new projects, including the utilization of artificial intelligence for medical applications; manage data flow
- Assist development and implementation of new databases (i.e. molecular database of patients)
- Assist development and data management of investigator-initiated clinical trials
- Perform data analysis of clinical (IIT) and research databases
OTHER RESPONSIBILIES
- Attend Tumor Board conferences (metastatic uveal & skin melanoma) and other meetings related to melanoma research; update patient databases with new information
- Assist translational team with data management and coding (i.e. PDX and molecular database and correlative biomarker studies); as needed
Qualifications
Position qualification: BS/BA or above
Skills:
- Required: Computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Basic database knowledge and data entry skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Attention to detail
- Preferred: Familiarity with medical terminology, particularly oncology terminology
Previous experience with clinical database management and data analysis
