SUMMARY:
The Data Analysts help manage and provide the production data in our fast-paced food manufacturing environment involving optimizing labor cost, volume, and efficiency of production, ensuring quality assurance, correcting equipment failure and hardware problems as well as monitoring production process proactively improving from slowdowns or bottlenecks. They also coordinate employee training or retraining on software or controls to improve efficiency. This role will leverage data to optimize processes, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

This role will leverage data to optimize processes, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect and manage production data from various systems (ERP, MES, etc.) to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis.
- Analyze production processes and identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Generate reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics such as production throughput, waste, downtime, and yield.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Quality Control, Procurement, etc.) to provide data-driven insights that enhance decision-making.
- Develop and maintain predictive models to forecast production demand, optimize production schedules, and anticipate maintenance needs.
- Create data visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboards) to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
- Assist with implementing and optimizing data systems, ERP systems, and reporting tools.
- Perform day-to-day administration tasks for Microsoft SharePoint, including user access management, site configuration, and content management.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power Platform applications, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL query language and experience with complex queries and data modeling.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools like SQL, Python, R, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Basic proficiency in programming or scripting, particularly with Microsoft tools such as SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate. The ideal candidate will be comfortable developing simple automation workflows, custom solutions, or integrating data within the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Ability to customize and extend SharePoint functionality and create user-friendly apps or automated processes using Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Aptean Ross, SAP, Oracle) and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Experience with predictive and prescriptive analytics to support operational decision-making.
- Familiarity with food manufacturing processes, KPIs, and quality control metrics.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong understanding of core business processes such as invoicing, procurement, inventory management, and order processing. The candidate should be able to analyze these processes and suggest improvements or automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with and support key business functions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
