Job Summary:

At SBM Life Science, we are seeking a strategic and analytical Director, Supply Chain Integration to oversee and lead the integration of supply chain functions across various departments and external partners to ensure efficient operations are met. As the Director, Supply Chain Integration, you will work closely with manufacturing stakeholders and cross-functional teams in the organization to ensure best in class processes are designed, supported by technology, and implemented. You will be a key member of the operations leadership team- guiding our business through various projects including, but not limited to; warehouse management systems implementation, reconfiguration of our ERP system (Sage), implementing technology to support manufacturing and aligning operations to service our retail home improvement, mass merchandising and direct to consumer channel partners. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on integration and optimization
  • Experience leading implementations with end-to-end delivery
  • Proficiency in ERP supply chain modules (Planning, Procurement, Inventory Control, Manufacturing, and Shipping, etc.) and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
  • Experience implementing, customizing and/or configuration of ERP/MRP/WMS systems
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage change effectively

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business, or related discipline
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and practices through Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma

Travel Requirements:
  • Domestic travel up to 30%, on a required basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the integration of supply chain systems and processes across the organization
  • Partner with key stakeholders to address current and future needs, challenges, and opportunities
  • Provide insights on technological trends and disruptions to champion potential advancements.
  • Ensure consistent strategy applied to technology enablement across all supply chain and manufacturing functions.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, IT, Finance, Sales and R&D user community to ensure meeting business requirements successfully
  • Create detailed specifications, requirements definition and design documents for technology enabled supply chain projects
  • Work with technology architects and user community to perform gap analysis for complex projects to translate business processes into function project plans
  • Provide training and support to users to ensure they can effectively utilize ERP Supply Chain, MES applications, etc. by adhering to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ERP Supply Chain, MES and related applications.
  • Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance processes and systems for Supply Chain and manufacturing functions.
  • Identify and implement key organizational process improvements, such as automation, optimization, standardization, or simplification.
