We're seeking a detail-oriented Sales Operations Specialist to support our sales team's efficiency and effectiveness. This role is crucial in maintaining smooth sales processes and providing data-driven insights to drive business growth.

This position is based in our Washington, DC office. Capstone is in-person Monday thru Thursday with flexible work from home Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy implementation: Helping to execute the Head of Sales's vision and strategic plans.
- Evaluate and optimize effectiveness of existing software platforms and select and implement new ones.
- Maintain CRM system and ensure data accuracy
- Generate and analyze sales reports and forecasts
- Support sales team with content creation and process improvements
- Collaborate with content strategy team on creation of marketing tools such as pitch decks to enhance visual storytelling.
- Assist in training sales staff on tools and processes
- Formulating Presales (BDR/SDR) process for private equity sales team to develop business leads
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years of experience in sales operations or similar role
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Powerpoint
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with sales analytics tool, Pitchbook and Mergermarket
- Knowledge of sales methodologies and best practices
- Project management experience
