Position Responsibilities
Position Summary
This individual will conduct federally funded research (50%) related to nutrition and women's health, teach undergraduate and graduate courses (35%) related to nutrition, and provide outreach and service (15%) related to nutrition and women's health as part of the COBRE in Nutrition and Women's Health. This is a tenure track faculty position with an open rank negotiable for an appointment of Assistant, Associate, or Full professor. If we attract a more senior-level faculty (Associate or Full Professor), responsibilities will also include oversight of seminar series and mentoring of junior faculty (research project leaders and pilot project grantees) associated with the COBRE. Rank and tenure are negotiable based on how the candidate meets the criteria outlined in department and college bylaws.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
- PhD in Nutrition or related discipline.
- Experience writing intramural or extramural research grants.
- Experience conducting research related to nutrition and women's health.
- Experience publishing research findings in refereed journals.
- Experience with oral and written communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience conducting interdisciplinary research.
- Experience teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
- Experience obtaining federal research grants.
