Royce Geo is seeking a UI/UX Engineer to help fill out our software development efforts on a new product line.
Responsibilities:
User Research:
- Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather insights about user needs and behaviors.
- Analyze research data to inform design decisions and create user personas.
Design Development:
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and scope.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Testing and Iteration:
- Conduct usability tests on prototypes and live products to identify areas for improvement.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics to enhance user experience.
Stay Current:
- Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UI/UX design.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the design process and methodologies within the team.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design for web and/or mobile applications.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or InVision.
- Familiarity with prototyping tools (e.g., Axure, Marvel) and user testing platforms.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to effectively communicate with development teams.
- A strong portfolio showcasing design projects, including case studies that demonstrate the design process from research to final product.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and A/B testing.
- Ability to analyze user feedback and metrics to inform design decisions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
