Responsibilities

The Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship (JMC) at Florida State University (FSU), the nation's first and only free-standing College of Entrepreneurship, invites applications for a full-time entrepreneurship faculty member (non-tenure track) to join our growing team beginning in Spring, Summer, or Fall 2025. This is a 12-month, specialized faculty appointment to teach four courses each Fall and Spring, and two courses over the summer.

The ideal candidate for this role will be able to teach a diverse array of entrepreneurship specific courses and play a leadership role in growing FSU's Automotive Franchising entrepreneurship program, including serving as a liaison with that industry and supervising student automotive internships and student organization.

Qualifications

A master's degree in entrepreneurship or related field (MBA, JD, etc.)

Experience owning, starting, or running new ventures, or experience in corporate innovation settings, startups in a variety of industries

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as a proven dedication to working with diverse student populations at a collegiate level.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the automotive or franchising industries, and/or in a high-volume sales environment; PhD or DBA in entrepreneurship or a related field; and/or Experience teaching a diverse array of entrepreneurship courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
