Description:
JRAD is seeking a highly skilled Fire and Emergency Services (FES) Analyst to provide critical support to the Air Force in coordinating, consolidating, developing, and maintaining governance and programmatic documents related to Fire and Emergency Services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in emergency services and will work under the oversight of AF/A4C program management.

Roles/Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, consolidate, develop, and maintain FES Defense governance and programmatic documents, including DAFIs and policies.
- Provide action plan recommendations, task and inquiry responses, and issue resolution action plans to ensure compliance with federal requirements and DoD directives.
- Participate in meetings/forums, providing detailed updates to leadership and stakeholders by developing and presenting meeting materials (e.g., slides, after-action reports, minutes).
- Advocate for AF capability needs within all FES Science and Technology initiatives.
- Assist AF/A4C representatives in managing DAF FES Program resource needs and ensuring effective resource distribution.
- Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that strategic messages regarding DAF FES programs and policies are effectively communicated to senior AF leaders.
- Establish analysis surveys and apply feedback to inform, update, and revise DAF FES Program policies and guidelines.
- Administer senior executive-level working groups to enhance participation and effectiveness through in-person and virtual formats.
- Ensure DAF FES equities are captured in planning and programming documents across various agencies and organizations before final government approval.
- Review and revise policies and procedures to support Air Force mission objectives, eliminate barriers to mission accomplishment, and promote quality improvements.
Required Skills and Education:
- Associate degree (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Graduate of the DoD Fire Protection School.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in Incident Command, Emergency Medical Services, Aircraft Rescue Firefighting, and structural operations, with a focus on FES response to hazardous materials incidents, disasters, and emergencies.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and emergency response protocols.
- Local to DMV (DC, MD, VA)
- Proficient in MS Software Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Security Clearance:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
