About the Team

The Human Resources team provides support and guidance across our National and International footprint in the areas of Payroll, Safety, Organisational & Workforce Development, Veterans Engagement, Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, Global Mobility, Health and Wellbeing, Diversity and Inclusion, Administration and IR/ER.

About the Role

Reporting to the Manager - HR Operations & Talent Acquisition, the HR Data & Reporting Specialist focuses on analysing workforce data, reviewing and validating data within SAP systems (S/4HANA and SuccessFactors), forecasting staffing needs, supporting the development of key talent acquisition strategies to create meaningful reports and analysis of HR data.

You will also work in close alignment with the Finance and Talent Acquisition Teams to ensure all proposed workforce planning and staffing solutions are aligned with the operational talent objectives company budgets/forecasts.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication abilities are essential for your success in this role.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
  • Advanced skills and experience in reporting and analysis processes and standards;
  • Advanced skills in data maintenance, management, and integrity;
  • HRIS management experience on multiple platforms (experience with SuccessFactors will be highly regarded);
  • Support and develop reports and analysis that provide insight to initiatives including; employee retention, leave usage and liability, headcount/recruitment forecasting, Australian Government initiatives and more;
  • Collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Team to enable Hiring Managers and Leaders to understand their staffing needs and requirements;
  • Advanced MS Office skills i.e. Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Manufacturing/Defence industry experience - desirable;
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human resources, Business Administration, or related disciplines (or experience to the level of will be highly regarded, however not essential); and
  • Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
