Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Licensed Architect to join our Fort Myers, Florida office.
This role will focus on meeting client needs, driving business development, and facilitating the transition of
responsibilities from our principal architect as they prepare for retirement. The ideal candidate will bring a
strong architectural background, leadership skills, and a commitment to client satisfaction and firm
growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Understand their needs and expectations to deliver exceptional architectural solutions.
  • Assist principal in production of deliverables in Revit and Auto-Cad
  • Oversee all phases of architectural projects, ensuring design excellence, compliance with regulations, and alignment with client goals. Lead project teams in executing plans, managing schedules, and adhering to budgets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Collaborate with the marketing/proposal team to develop proposals, presentations, and strategies that enhance the firm's visibility and client base.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and team members. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and development.
  • Work closely with the principal architect to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities. Document processes and procedures to maintain continuity and quality in service delivery.
  • Review and approve design documents, specifications, and construction administration materials to ensure high-quality outcomes.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
Active architectural license (REQUIRED)
5-7 years of professional experience in architecture, with a proven track record of successful project
management and client engagement.
Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and industry standards.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
Experience in business development and client relationship management is highly desirable.
