Job Duties:
- Provides guidance, coordination, and support through the consistent application of the County's job classification and compensation policies and practices.
- Plans, develops, and implements new and revised compensation programs, policies, and procedures that meet the County's goals and enhance the County's ability to attract and retain a diverse workforce.
- Recommends adjustments to the County's pay structure and staffing table by conducting regular research, market assessments, and surveys;.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining accurate job descriptions, organizational charts, and data entry and management of Human Resources records.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's Degree preferred.
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience, including three (3) years' experience in compensation and classification work.
- Senior level HR Certification (SHRM, HRCI, IPMA) or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.
- Must possess/maintain a working telephone and valid Driver's License.
- Must submit to/pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
