The Supply Chain BDMwill be responsible for driving new business by leveraging Fathom's industry leading technologies via direct sales through our partners Domestically and Overseas. Strategic direction and consultative approach combined with the highest levels of business acumen will be the recipe for long-term growth and success. This position is a member of the sales team and is expected to sell direct to end users. The individual will proactively manage and hunt new business for maximum sales by responding to opportunities, face-to-face client visits, prospecting, regular contact with the accounts that have Injection Mold, Cast Urethane, CNC, and other outsourcing needs.

Supply Chain Business Development Manager Total Compensation: $80,000k Base pay plus 50/50 Commissions

Supply Chain Business Development Manager Travel Requirements: Ability to travel 25% of the time to attend off site customer visits and meetings within the assigned accounts.

Supply Chain Business Development Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting Initiatives: Responsible for developing and executing strategies to create new business relationships. Successfully utilizing a consultative approach to assess needs and identify companies and organizations where Fathom offers the most strategic value.
- Engagement Across Sectors: Responsible for successful engagement with end users, and necessary internal sectors. This includes but is not limited to OEM engineers, PMs, DE's, and production managers.
- Fostering Customer Relationships: Responsible for managing and ensuring the success of Fathom customers including ongoing account management, customer satisfaction, and account maintenance. Building long term customer relationships to cultivate accounts and maximize opportunity.
- Drive partnerships that meet and exceed revenue targets. Responsible for meeting annual sales quotas by direct selling the full suite of Fathom services.
- Manages direct account base
- Build Territory plans to meet growth objectives and execute against the plan
- Continually develop improvement for sales and processes in conjunction with Sales team and managers
Supply Chain Business Development Manager Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have manufacturing background with a minimum of 3 years of field experience
- Must have outsource selling experience utilizing Injection Molding, Cast Urethane and CNC.
- Engineering or Industrial Design Degree Preferred
- Successful track record and comfortable with complex, consultative engagements advocating for adoption and driving utilization of a new technology.
- Exceptional interpersonal and verbal / written communication skills including technical.
- Professional, patient, and exceptional listener when interacting with customers and partners.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and passionate about new manufacturing technologies and the positive impact they can have with a client.
- Ability to be flexible with a very dynamic, growing company.
- Team player with a positive attitude; self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
