Position Overview:
Responsible for sales in MHCA's U.S. Transportation Vendor Solutions, Direct Lending business for a geographical region. Primarily responsible for direct solicitation of our equipment finance products to end user customers and working closely with all aspects of the business including credit, documentation, administration and collections and remarketing.

The position is exempt, and salary will be between $150,000.00 and $170,000.00 with an opportunity to earn commission.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for sales function within the Transportation, Vendor Solutions Direct Lending business for MHCA. This includes the development and management of strategic end-user customer relationships. This overall function includes but is not limited to management of the following:
- Identify, target and develop new end user relationships.
- Solicitation and signing of end user relationships.
- Achieving appropriate pricing for new business.
- Relationship building with strategic referrers of end user customers.
- Setting relationship guidelines.
- Resolution of end user customer issues and complaints.
- Create and present effective program presentations and training tools for various trade shows and strategic partner meetings.
- Collaborate with Marketing in targeting new relationships.
- Participate in establishing and consistently meeting business budget goals that include new business volume, new business spreads, fee income, return on assets, and overall direct SG&A expenses.
- Develop new products leveraging the industry expertise and channel relationships of the Transportation, Vendor Solutions division.
- Work closely with Senior Management and other department managers to foster an inclusive environment that focuses on cooperation, collaborative problem solving, and collective ownership of our business and customer responsibilities.
- Professionally and effectively represent MHCA at industry conventions and seminars, sales meetings and other professional functions.
- Individually represent MHCA by always meeting the highest of ethical and professional standards.

- Collaboratively works together with other departments to execute overall business objectives.
- Work closely with administrative support to achieve business objectives.
- Work collaboratively with supporting functions such as credit, administration, and portfolio management.

Qualifications:
- Proven success in a sales capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of the light, medium and heavy-duty truck markets, as well as the finance/leasing products that support them.
- Demonstrated relationship building skills.
- Must understand the dynamics, competition and customer opportunities of the trucking industry.
- Decisive and articulate, with polished professional sales and presentation skills, and oral and written communication skills.
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic who possesses a sense of urgency.
- Comfortable with a leadership role with demonstrated team building and collaborative management skills.
- Critical thinker that can look "out of the box" for solutions and process improvement.
- Team player with ability to rally support from other departments and employees.

Education and Experience:
- BA/BS, Business or Finance required.
- 10+ years related experience with comparable financial institution.
Licensing and Certification:
- None.
Tools and Equipment Used:
- Personal Computer, copier, fax, phone, and other typical office equipment.
Working Hours:
- Hours may vary and will require some evening work; frequently requires working 40-45 hours/week depending on business needs.
Travel:
- Domestic travel is required.
- Will need to travel 50% of the time, related to attendance at industry seminars.
Physical Demands:
- Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment
- Light lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc.
- Ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees via phone or in person.
- Body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move from one office location to another.
