Description:

LA Clippers are looking to hire a DevOps engineer to support the launch of our new technology driven Arena Intuit Dome. DevOps Engineer org oversees the core technical platforms and systems for Intuit Dome's suite of hospitality products. Our team supports all the entertainment experiences in our brand-new arena including on app and in person interaction.

In this role you will focus on configuration management, cloud infrastructure, pipeline automation and security. Reporting into the manager or DevOps, this role plays an important role in the success of our grand opening year.

What you will do:
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Azure.
  • IoT Solutions: Develop and manage IoT solutions and devices using Azure IoT Hub. Manage, maintain and monitor a fleet of physical devices.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Utilize Kubernetes and Helm for deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications.
  • Automation and Configuration Management: Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management. Write infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Splunk or Prometheus Loki Grafana.
  • DevOps Practices: Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues across mobile, web, on-premises, and cloud infrastructure, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
  • Support: Provide technical support and assistance to internal and external customers during normal and after regular hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Your background:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, LiveOps, IT operations, or system administration.
  • Strong experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure IAM, Azure Monitor, or related services.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Terraform.
  • Experience with production readiness and operational capabilities using tools like Azure Monitor, Azure Sentinel, Azure Automation, Azure Backup, and Azure Security Center
  • Experience with Linux, Windows, AWS, Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, Git, MongoDB, Kafka, Datadog, or similar technologies.
  • Experience supporting enterprise edge, on-premises, and cloud data environments.
  • Experience supporting cloud-based systems supporting enterprise web-based applications.
  • Excellent understanding of cloud security concepts and hands-on experience with security controls and practices in a cloud environment.
  • Experience with logging solutions such as PLG (Prometheus, Loki, Grafana) or Splunk.
  • Familiarity with OSSEC or similar tools for security monitoring and alerting.

Compensation:

  • The range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 annual compensation. Compensation package offered will be based on multiple individualized factors, including a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
