This contractor must sit onsite in Redmond, WA
UPDATED INFO FOR RECRUITING:
1. We need testers experienced in any kind of hardware testing as a mandate requirement. The candidate must have experience in validating hardware components of a system and should have at least basic knowledge on Linux.
2. We do not need candidates who are experienced in testing web applications and other front-end applications.
3. Testing mobile apps cannot be considered as device testing background as it does not involve any hardware level validations.
4. We would need candidates who are experienced at the max 8 years and not more.
5. Also, this is an onsite requirement and candidate has to be local to Redmond-WA.
* 3 to 8 years of QA experience with automation.
* Experienced in devices/hardware testing is mandatory.
* Experienced with automation testing.
* Validation of new Hardware and sensors.
* Experienced in Linux.
* Validation of System level Software and Firmware.
* Design automated tests.
* Understand customer requirements and convert them into user stories and estimates.
* Work with the product managers and end users to define & document product and feature functionality and requirements.
* Work closely with multiple internal teams to create, maintain and evolve test plans and automation to drive testing.
* Actively participate in issue triage / troubleshooting and clearly document processes used.
* Ensure effective communications with peers and management.
* Strong background in designing or extending existing test frameworks.
* Excellent Debugging skills & experience troubleshooting.
