Summary:

An ARK Revenue Manager is committed to playing a part in the growth of the organization. In line with the vision, mission and values of ARK, the work of a revenue manager positively impacts the success of the hotel beyond playing a primary role in revenue strategy - the interactions, trainings, etc. with team members at both corporate and at hotels provides qualitative value, not just quantitative (financial) value.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing overall hotel room revenue through the implementation of effective pricing and distribution strategies. Outperform direct competitors by winning market share with rational and competitive pricing, distribution strategy backed by targeted marketing, and careful management of hotel inventory to maximize topline revenue. Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Maximize RevPAR by analyzing past trends and future demand forecast to set/adjust sales strategies designed to increase market share, RevPAR growth and optimize market mix
  • Identify and act upon activities to drive RevPAR growth for assigned hotels.
  • Review and analyze reports such as STR, segmentation reports and other measurement tools to help maximize the total sales and revenue penetration as well as the RevPAR Index improvement.
  • Consistently monitor competitive set pricing activity.
  • Ensure assigned hotels stay in parity and comply with brand requirements.
  • Assist in the development of displacement analyses for prospective pieces of group business.
  • Lead assigned portfolio of hotels through the budgeting process.
  • Generate Revenue Forecasts with a certain level of accuracy.
  • Conduct revenue meetings with assigned hotels.
  • Effectively communicate current selling strategies to hotel level and above property teams.


Other Duties:
  • Take an active part in company affairs and related events.
  • Attend industry meetings and events to represent and promote ARK Hotels along with gaining knowledge to share with our ARK team.
  • Execute other duties and special assignments.
