JOB INFORMATION:

Job Title: Enterprise Resource Planning Analyst

Department(s):5072 - Information Technology

Location(s): Garden City Terminal

FLSA Status: Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

Under the general supervision of the General Manager of IT - Finance, gathers and analyzes information for developing and modifying automated information systems. Works with personnel across multiple departments to gather information and define system objectives. Documents fact-finding and study results, specifications, and recommendations.

Upholds the values of the GPA to promote Safety, Integrity, Respect, Community, Creativity and Opportunity. Promotes a safe work environment by participating in safety initiatives and reporting unsafe conditions and behaviors.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Perform interviews and other data gathering activities for preliminary study and project design.
  • Design, develop, customize, and maintain company's ERP systems.
  • Prepare cost/benefit analysis and submit to management.
  • Identify and manage risks/issues and develop mitigation plans.
  • Prepare technical specifications and use cases for project development and implementation.
  • Responsible for project goals and deadlines.
  • Coordinate user training as required.
  • Assist development teams in the preparation of user documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain system documentation.
  • Prepare project reports and dashboards as required.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Skills in accounting, payroll, data collection, marketing, inventory control, logistics, and port operations desired.

Experience

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Applications and SAP solutions including ECC, S4 Hana, Fiori and ABAP programming Required


Education

  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree in business or computer science or equivalent


Licenses Certifications

  • TWIC - Transportation Worker Identification Credential Required Upon Hire
  • Driver's License - Valid state driver's license Required Upon Hire
