JOB SUMMARY:
The Integration Engineer II - NISSC, plans and performs integration activities involving the definition of integration plans and sequences relative to complex software and hardware subsystems, and resolves identified conflicting issues. This role may be deployed to various locations depending on specific Federal or Commercial projects that require support, fulfilling requirements or missions set by either the customer or ZIVARO internally. All work should be completed with a sense of urgency and timeliness, always striving to exceed expectations, ensuring the highest standard of work excellence expected by ZIVARO engineers.

JOB SUMMARY:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work to resolve COTS platform installation and processing issues; create and modify scripts to extract specific information from log files; perform data analysis of input, internal, and output message data
- Plan and lead integration with external elements and sensors
- Review and provide feedback of system specifications, development, test, network documents
- Attend meetings with other team members, customers, etc.
- Develop technical documentation such as installation procedures for software releases and configuration steps for hardware
- Install and verify new COTS software for the mission systems supported
- Provide troubleshooting expertise to test, operations, and maintenance personnel for the various mission systems supported
- Provide technical assistance to mission or business delivery objectives or contracts in support of the deployment of new hardware and software on both modern and legacy systems.
- Install and prepare systems in support of software development and engineering investigations and generally support troubleshooting on system defects
- Work with other members of the integration team to perform on site installation and preliminary check out of hardware and software for systems developed and supported
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience in Integration engineering
- Operate and troubleshoot operational systems in support of mission or business objectives
- Ideal candidate should have either knowledge of or practical experience with mission critical systems in DoD or equivalent as well as general methodologies and terminology
- If this position is for a specific program or customer, experience with that program or customer is preferred.
- Experience with troubleshooting small to large scale infrastructures
- Ability to create, review, and provide feedback of documentation including system specifications, development, test/plan, network documents as necessary
- Windows, Linux, Oracle experience
- Active Secret Security clearance required - Top Secret is preferred
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS Engineering, Computer Science, or Math); or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA) is highly preferred - must obtain within 45 days of start
