Director of Referral Services

Responsible for directing strategy and operations for the SBH Referral Office, effectively and efficiently processing all community physician referrals. Provides strategic direction, leadership and vision to the teams, overseeing daily operations and team management. Assists the Assistant Vice President in directing partner relations activity to strengthen relationships and grow referral business from our community providers.

• Directs strategy and daily management of referral operations. Manages the referral network, workflows, and information systems to track timeliness and accuracy of services.
• Directly supervises and manages all SBH Referral Office staff and Partners Relations Manager.
• Leads all administrative functions, coordinating daily operations, and communicating changes to workflows, and policies and procedures
• Leads continuous improvement of SBH's referral processes and patient experience. Responsible for planning, directing, communicating, and executing continuous quality and process improvement plans.
• Monitors effectiveness and efficiency of referral processes and outcomes, and reports data to the Assistant Vice President.
• Assists the Assistant Vice President in developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Directs the work of the Provider Relations Manager, establishing strategy and structure for the work.
• Develops strategies and workplans to engage community providers to improve relationships and manage ongoing referral workflows. Maintains effective communication with all stakeholders.
• Oversees operation of the EpicCare Link platform, ensuring new community providers and officers are built into the system, and users are trained.
• Prepares reports and tracks internal processes, presenting findings to SBH leadership and key stakeholders.

Education Required: Master's in Health, Business Administration, or related field
