Job Title: IT Architect

Job Summary:

We are hiring an experienced IT Architect to design and oversee the implementation of our organization's IT systems and infrastructure. Responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, developing technical specifications, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of IT systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the organization's IT architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, objectives, and technological advancements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand their requirements, evaluate existing systems, and design scalable and efficient IT solutions.
• Create and maintain architectural blueprints, models, and documentation that outline the structure, components, and relationships of the organization's IT systems.
• Define and enforce architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency, interoperability, and security across all IT initiatives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the IT infrastructure.
• Lead and guide development teams in implementing architectural designs, ensuring adherence to established standards and best practices.
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of existing IT systems and infrastructure to identify areas for improvement, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to define project scopes, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring alignment with the overall IT architecture.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to IT teams, promoting knowledge sharing, professional growth, and a culture of continuous learning.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in enterprise architecture and IT infrastructure management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
• Proven experience as an IT Architect or in a similar role, designing and implementing enterprise-level IT architectures and solutions.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and technologies, including but not limited to networks, servers, databases, cloud computing, virtualization, and security.
• Proficiency in architectural design tools, methodologies, and frameworks (e.g., UML, ArchiMate, Zachman Framework) to create and communicate architectural designs.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for IT architecture, such as TOGAF or other architectural frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex systems and identify areas for improvement or optimization.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, translate technical concepts into business language, and influence decision-making. Ability to think strategically, envision future-state architectures, and develop roadmaps for implementing IT initiatives.
• Project management skills to effectively lead and guide development teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and work independently or as part of a team.
