Construction Superintendent
We are looking for a full-time Construction Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in the commercial, healthcare, and industrial construction industries.
Responsibilities of the Construction Superintendent include:
- Develop detailed schedules and phasing plans for the construction process
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines
- Manage procurement of necessary materials and equipment
- Track inventory and oversee material orders
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Arrange for equipment orders and regular maintenance
- Communicate field issues and relay updates to the project team
- Keep all project documentation current for both internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams, engineers, subcontractors, and property management to meet project requirements
- Establish performance objectives and set deadlines
- Provide updates on project status and track progress
- Ensure the project remains within budget and meets financial targets
- Oversee field personnel and provide constructive guidance
- Coordinate manpower requirements as needed
- Schedule inspections with relevant authorities
- Address on-site problems and manage emergencies
- Ensure adherence to safety, health, and quality regulations
Qualifications for the Construction Superintendent position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field
- 5-10 years of experience in the commercial, healthcare, Corporate office, retail and/or industrial construction industries
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction software
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record
- OSHA 30
