Chief Purpose of this position: TheDivision of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at the Children's Hospital ofRichmond at Virginia Commonwealth University (CHOR at VCU) is recruiting for anon-tenure eligible physician to participate in clinical, teaching and research activities. The division currently has three clinical faculty, two advanced practice providers, anurse coordinator, and a nurse navigator. Providerssee patients at the downtown Children's Pavilion and travel to outlayingcommunity clinics. Additionally, thedivision has an active ACGME approved fellowship program in coordination with the Department of InternalMedicine.

Position Responsibilities:
- Teaching: Faculty member will have teaching responsibilities. Faculty member will provide teaching and mentorship to medical students, Residents, Chief Residents, andFellows when applicable.
- Research: Faculty member will have working knowledge in research methods and be able to participate in clinical, translational, and outcomesresearch.
- Service: Faculty member will serve on departmental or School of Medicine level committees when appropriate, and engage inprofessional activities through journal review, conference presentations, etc.
- Clinical: Faculty member will serve as a Pediatric Allergy and Immunology Physician for the Department of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology. The division provides clinical care to both inpatientand outpatient arenas.
Required Qualifications:
- Board certified in Pediatrics/Internal Medicine. Board certified or board eligible in Allergy and Immunology
- Experience with clinical care of patients
- Experience in an academic medical center
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
