Position Summary:
  • Camber is seeking a Senior Director of Healthcare Contracts to manage and negotiate healthcare contracts, ensuring compliance and supporting organizational growth. This role collaborates with internal departments and external payers, maintains contract documentation accuracy, and evaluates service expansion opportunities.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field

Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years in healthcare contracting
  • Experience with medical insurance companies preferred

Licensure/Certification:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Valid auto insurance

Skills:
  • Strong healthcare industry knowledge
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and contract management

Responsibilities:
  • Contract Development and Negotiation:
    • Develop and negotiate new contracts.
    • Ensure contracts meet financial and regulatory requirements.
  • Contract Maintenance:
    • Oversee contract lifecycle, including renewals and terminations.
    • Maintain accurate contract documentation.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Coordinate with Business Unit Presidents, Finance, and Legal departments.
    • Communicate contract terms to the billing department.
    • Inform staff of policy changes.
  • Strategic Analysis and Reporting:
    • Assess networks and recommend improvements.
    • Analyze data to meet financial targets.
    • Maintain reports on contract statuses.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Maintain relationships with providers.
    • Evaluate fee schedules for service and reimbursement improvements.
  • Behavioral Expectations:
    • Proactive in seeking contract opportunities and assertive in negotiations.
    • Detail-oriented and accurate in documentation.
    • Collaborative and communicative with internal teams.
    • Strategically analytical and data-driven.
    • Responsive and focused on maintaining provider relationships.
