Sr. Corporate Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join the corporate accounting team in Fremont, CA. The role will assist the preparation of monthly consolidated financials and conducts various foreign currency analysis and intercompany reconciliation. In addition to recurring accounting duties, this role will participate in any ad hoc projects and implementation of process/system improvements. This role is great for an aspiring individual who is detail oriented and enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly financial close process including accounting for FX adjustments and elimination of intercompany transactions
• Perform intercompany reconciliation and resolve any discrepancies at month end close
• Initiates reval/translation jobs and perform analysis on the results
• Assist in the preparation of monthly consolidated financials
• Collaborate and work closely with key contacts in other departments (e.g., regional accounting teams, IT support team, internal and external auditors)
• Help with SEC reporting on 10-Q/K and flux
• Ad hoc projects and process/system improvement projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of relevant public accounting and/or industry experience is required
• Working knowledge of multi-currency transactions and related impacts on the financial statements preferred
• Experience with large-scale accounting systems
• Advanced Excel expertise preferred
• A desire to learn and have a great intellectual curiosity
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and execute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Expected Compensation$64,000 - $138,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefitsPay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
