This is what you will do
Candidate MUST CURRENTLY live near the Miami or Ft. Lauderdale area. The ideal candidate will have food manufacturing experience, and will prospect and close sales leads to help generate revenue for the company. They will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the sales strategy. This candidate will have strong management and coaching skills to support the learning and development of the sales team.

This is what you will do
Candidate MUST CURRENTLY live near the Miami or Ft. Lauderdale area. The ideal candidate will have food manufacturing experience, and will prospect and close sales leads to help generate revenue for the company. They will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the sales strategy. This candidate will have strong management and coaching skills to support the learning and development of the sales team.
Primary areas of responsibility:
- Establish Target accounts and their strategic approach for each market in conjunction with the Zone Manager
- Build a strong customer and distributor relationship
- Manage Trade spending with distributors
- Negotiate Marketing agreement with distributors
- Attend Food shows with distributors and/or customers as needed
- Analyze data on distributor sales activities and build strategy around this (PBI)
- Directly establish, maintain and expand customer accounts
- Use consultative selling skills to present LUSA's solutions to potential customers
- Maintain and update CRM system as per company policy
- Forecasting annual and quarterly sales targets
- Effective problem solving skills, ability to identify, interpret and analyze the correct data, and independently provide detailed directions to development projects.
- Works in a team environment ensuring alignment with cross functional departments from Sales, Operation, Marketing and Finance.
- Stays updated on developments in market conditions and competitor activities
- Assist all other members of LUUSA in their duties as requested
- Some traveling to the Caribbean Islands

What you bring:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
- A minimum 5+ years of food related sales experience is preferred
- Computer skills including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Proven results-oriented experience
- Valid Driver's License
