This position performs Project Control activities and/or supervises the preparation of Project Controls activities for a project or assignment. This role serves as Control Team Leader on small projects and provides direct supervision to a small team of Project Controls personnel, or as a Subject Manager Expert (SME) for the entire Project Controls Team in the Regional Office.
Develop Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work defined by the contract
Develop totally integrated engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) schedules or cost control programs
Recommend solutions or recovery plans to schedule or cost impact or delays
As a Lead Scheduler analyze schedule, review delays, propose schedule recovery alternatives and presents them to internal groups as well as the client
As Lead Cost Specialist maintain the cost system and provide required reports
Analyze variances in cost and schedule performance against the plan, and communicate the reasons for the issuance of variance and proposed mitigation plans to Project Management
Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and ten (10) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to fourteen (14) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Preferred Qualifications
Possess practical experience in the use of the automated cost or schedule management systems
Must have had leadership roles as a Control Team Lead (CTL) on a small-sized project or cost or scheduling lead on a large project
May need to travel internationally for project assignments and in support of business related matters

Job Overview:

The purpose of this position is to manage the Project Controls System Administration team and is responsible for the oversight, administration, and continuous improvement of project controls systems used across the organization. This role ensures that the systems and processes support project delivery by managing project schedules, costs, and resource allocations effectively. The PC system administration manager collaborates with the project team to ensure the project controls systems supports the needs of the project. The PC system administration manager will lead a team of project controls systems and reporting specialists enabling a collaborative work environment among the team and with the larger project team. The manager is responsible for the mentoring and growth of the system administration team members.

Key Responsibilities:

System Administration:
Lead and mentor the Systems Administration team in administration of Project Controls systems.
Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and administration of project controls systems (e.g., Primavera P6, Deltek COBRA, Empower, other adhoc reporting systems).
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security within the system through regular audits and compliance checks.
Manage user roles, permissions, and system access across the organization.

Project Controls Integration:
Work with project managers and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of schedules, budgets, and resource plans into project control systems.
Ensure accurate reporting and data synchronization with enterprise systems such as CostPoint, COBRA, P6, Empower and other related platforms.

Reporting and Dashboards:
Develop custom reports and dashboards using data visualization tools (Power BI, Empower) to provide stakeholders with real-time insights into project performance, including schedule, cost, and resource management.

User Training and Support:
Conduct training sessions for project teams and end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using the project controls systems.
Provide troubleshooting support and resolve technical issues related to the project controls systems.
System Enhancements and Upgrades:
Lead the implementation of system upgrades and enhancements, working closely with IT and vendors to optimize system performance.

Governance and Compliance:
Ensure that all project controls processes adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and compliance across all projects.
