The Opportunity:

Our thermal division is driving innovation with major development, re-development, and strategic workover projects - and we want you to be part of it!
- Job location: Calgary, Alberta
- Shift schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shifts
- Safety sensitive position: Yes

Key Accountabilities:
- Partner with our operations teams to execute optimized depletion strategies, driving maximum value from assets
- Engage in daily surveillance and troubleshooting of SAGD wells to ensure safety, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Pitch and evaluate opportunities to optimize production and cut operational costs
- Develop, maintain, and monitor downhole integrity programs
- Evaluate, recommend, plan, and execute creative well workovers to enhance well performance
- Contribute fresh ideas in the planning of new development phases
What You Bring to the Role:
- A degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering
- P.Eng designation in Alberta (or you're close to it)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in thermal production operations, with a foundational understanding of thermal processes, oil treating, and steam generation
- Familiarity with some common artificial lift systems such as Gas Lift, ESP's or Rod Pumps
- A valid Class 5 driver's license (or equivalent)
